Kris Hayward is currently in his 10th season with Riverdale High School and his 17th season as a Head Coach. He is a graduate of Sarasota High School (1990) and was a  State Champion in 1989 and 1990.  He attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (1995) where he wrestled four years, earning All-America honors in 1992 and 1994. He has coached 15 State Champions, 73 state placers, led the Raiders to FHSAA State Championships in 2008 and 2009, and state runner ups in 2007 and 2001(Lake Region HS).  He and his wife Vicki have two children, Kasey age 5 and Karson age 3.
